Pure Raw Creamed Honey
If you've never tried creamed honey, you might be wondering, "Is creamed honey just crystallized honey? Is there any anything added like butter?" Here's the answer:
Elden Foods Creamed Honey is simply 100% Pure Raw Honey.
Everyone has had honey that has begun to crystallize, in large jagged crystal shapes, which gives it a gritty texture. Honey that has started to crystallize is not going bad, but in fact is going through a normal process that helps nature preserve one of it's most amazing products. At Elden Foods, we've developed a way to take that crystallized honey, and make it feel smooth, and taste amazing!
How Elden Foods Creamed Honey is Made
Creamed Honey is pure raw honey that has crystallized in a controlled manner, so that it produces microscopic small round crystals, instead of the large jagged ones normally found. Essentially, the honey's natural crystallization process is accelerated, then run through a mill to crush and break apart the crystals, which gives it a light color. Then it's packaged!
This process gives our honey a creamy smooth texture and a delicious robust taste. People use it as spreads for toast or bagels, as it is thicker, and does not run off the knife like liquid honey. Its also used for baking! Its enhanced flavor gives products baked with it a unique sweetness that tastes great, and is nearly impossible to duplicate with other sweeteners.
Because creamed honey does not revert back to being gritty, it is perfect for storage! If kept at approximately 65 degrees Fahrenheit it will store in its rich creamy state indefinitely.
